We want to thank our community of buyers and sellers. Many of you will remember when we were still a young stork, making our way in the world. Without you, Second Hand Swank would not be possible. You see, we started out as Second Hand Stork. We expected to be a children's on-line consignment and thrift store with an eye for edge, couture, and a good deal. Over time, we became something very different. We began receiving merchandise for women (and men) and before you knew it, we were selling more women's apparel than children's. What can we say? The ladies love us! Although we continue to sell children's apparel, we’ve evolved into a balanced market place favoring women’s fashion. After much soul searching, we decided to adapt. Changing our name to Second Hand Swank wasn’t easy, but we know you will love our new, sophisticated, swanky shopping experience.

About Us

Our family is full of big personalities and every member has their own unique style. We each express ourselves in different ways. Fashion is one of them. When the idea for this website came to light, we knew it was time to celebrate our unique family and its diverse passion for fashion, accessories and decor.

The path that led us to Second Hand Swank, was a winding one and, as a result, we have become champions of thrift stores and heroes of hand-me-downs. We have let out hems, sewn on trims and mended buttons. From homemade drapes to patchwork quilts, our family has always looked for value on a tight budget. We were raised to be ourselves and to live with confidence. The first way we do this is through style; but personal style often comes at a high price.
